A little Inspiration is in order, for me to get things in Order.....

I am spending the day getting my workshop and storage organized. It is quite an extensive job because we have been on such a whirlwind of flea markets, opening up in two stores and becoming stockists for Annie Sloan's paint. I have collected quite a few treasures that need some love and attention. While going through all my treasures,  I have this inspiration piece in mind.

.

I would love to give credit to the artist, but I don't remember where I found it online.  Maybe one of my finds will tell me they want to look this cute too.

Mak & Jill are packing up for the Rose Bowl Flea Market!!!

This is a pic of Mak & Jill's very first experience at the Rose Bowl.  Love this pic! :)

So tomorrow we will be bringing lots of fabulous furnishings, trappings and paraphernalia, as well as Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint.  We will be demonstrating how this paint works and signing up people for the furniture finishes workshops.

We'll be getting up around 3 dark 30 in the stinking morning, hauling our wares down the 210, looking like gypsies with our bulging truck and trailer.

If you can make it tomorrow, we are located at the very top of the orange section (antiques & collectables)  at space KK 13 - not that anyone there would be able to tell you where that is. ;)  Although there is always a chance they do know.  You can always call me and Marjee though.  Mak - (714) 401-7897 or Jill (949) 412-4499.

If you can't make it, you are missing out!  Oh, so much fabulous shopping!!!  We will post pictures soon for all those who aren't fortunate enough to attend.  Hope to see you there tomorrow!

"Jeff Lewis" takes home french buffet.

I was dropping off my latest piece of furniture to San Clemente Antiques and Decor yesterday, and before I could put a tag on it, a house flipper from L.A. bought it.  He is finishing a remodel in the Miracle Mile, and bought this buffet to put in the bathroom.  He's going to drop a sink in it and turn it into a vanity.  He promised he'd send a photo of the finished product.  Can't wait to see it!!

Sorry about the bad photo quality - I forgot my camara, so this is taken on a cell phone.  But didn't this turn out so beautiful!?  It's a lovely Paris Grey - painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.  I'm now covered in "Provence" chalk paint - working on the next piece to fill the space.  I'll be posting that one soon.
